WaterWorks Journal

WaterWorks Journal publishes original research, review papers, and case studies at the intersection of civil, environmental, and water engineering. The journal brings together engineering practice, resource management, and policy, favoring applied, replicable work that speaks to real-world challenges in irrigation, water supply, and infrastructure — particularly in resource-constrained settings. Contributions are welcomed across watershed management and planning; flood modeling, forecasting, and routing; irrigation, drainage, and salinity control in cultivated land; wastewater reuse and recycling; groundwater management for agricultural sustainability; water purification through emerging materials and nanotechnology; energy-efficient irrigation and delivery systems; environmental remediation; institutional and policy frameworks for urban and agricultural water use; and the growing application of artificial intelligence and machine learning across civil and water resources engineering. The journal is especially interested in work that connects research to practice and supports data-driven, climate-resilient approaches to managing water resources.
